To investigate the current situation of graduates of standardized training for "3+2" assistant general practitioners in Chongqing, understand their employment prospects after graduation, analyze the current employment situation and possible reasons, and propose targeted improvement strategies and suggestions for the standardized training of "3+2" assistant general practitioners. A random sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on the standardized training of "3+2" assistant general practitioners in Chongqing who graduated from 2020 to 2023, in order to understand their employment prospects. There were 253 valid questionnaires, among which 88 graduates (34.78%) went to primary medical institutions for employment, 77 graduates (30.43%) went to private hospitals for employment, and 32 graduates (12.65%) went to secondary and above medical institutions; Within the job position, there are mainly 110 people (43.48%) in the field of general medicine, and only 23 people (9.09%) in the field of general medicine; Among the people working in grassroots medical institutions, 75 persons (85.2%) have a monthly income below 5000 yuan, 13 (14.8%) have a monthly income between 5000 and 8000 yuan, and 0 persons have a monthly income exceeding 8000 yuan. The proportion of graduates from the standardized training program for "3+2" assistant general practitioners in Chongqing who are employed in grassroots medical and health institutions is relatively low, and the proportion of those who work in general medical positions is relatively low.
