
Cutting-edge technologies such as digital technology and artificial intelligence have developed rapidly in today's society, it providing broad space for the protection and development of intangible cultural heritage. This article aims to explore the combination of traditional culture and modern technology, using Qinghai embroidery and digital technology as an example to explore how to use digital technology to protect, disseminate, and display Qinghai embroidery resources, and to conduct in-depth analysis of Qinghai embroidery cultural symbols. Secondly, this article introduces the five traditional Qinghai embroideries, including Tu nationality pan embroidery, Huangzhong dui embroidery, Hainan Tibetan embroidery, Hehuang embroidery, Mongolian embroidery, and introduces their characteristics, needlework, and representative works. Finally, this article proposes three methods of achieving digital generation of Qinghai embroidery patterns, which can help inheritors to design and create patterns. In addition, this article also discusses the education issues of Qinghai embroidery inheritors. These contents fully demonstrate the tremendous role of digital technology in the protection and development of cultural heritage, and provide new ideas for the inheritance and innovation of intangible cultural heritage.
